Somethings that i would like to learn

Hello everyone

I’m going to talk about me. I have to talk about something that I would learn to do. It’s difficult, because there are lots of things I would like to learn to do. For example, I like listen to music, a lot. Also I play the guitar. But I would like to learn to play others instruments. An instrument that I love how sounds, it’s the saxophone. I think that is an instrument very beautiful, but the big problem is that this instrument is very expensive. However, that instrument I would like to learn to play.

Other thing that I would like to learn is about Cinema. I love watching movies. Two years ago I start to watch a lot of films, like 1 film per day. I see Germany films, French films, etc. I start to love some independent films, not all, but some independent films were great. So, I would like to learn about the world of cinema.

Also, I would like to learn about literature. I love read novels, but now as I am in the university and I don’t have free time, I can’t read novels. When I was in the high school, I tried to read a lot of novels, in that period I learned a little about literature.

That’s all, bye!

Hello everybody

Today I’m going to talk about Santiago. I was born in Santiago, in Maipú. So, I lived all my life in this city. Somedays I like Santiago and somedays I hate it. I like Santiago, especially the center of Santiago, because is different, there are a lot of things to visit. Also, I like, for example, the “Parque Forestal”, this place is very near than the center of Santiago. I don’t know why I like the center of Santiago. I can’t explain because I think there is not so pretty, but I like it, maybe because in the center of Santiago and near, there are museums, restaurants, and all you want, I think.

I dislike Santiago because some people in the street and in the public transport they are angry, stressed. They just walk, they don’t talk and they don’t smile. I know this happens because the day in Santiago is very fast, they go out late for their homes, the public transport is bad. So, I know that not all the problem is responsibility of the people, but of the system of live that exists.

I think if the public transport was better and people do not work so much, Santiago would be a better place.

I recommend if I talk with a visitor, that he have to go to “Parque Forestal”, also he have to go to Bellavista if he want to have a good time and I would tell some streets that he has to visit for know Santiago.

That’s all, Bye!

Hello everybody

I’m going to talk about me and why I chose Sociology. When I was in High School, I liked a lot History. So, for that, I thought being history teacher, because also I liked to teach. When I was sixteen years old, I was interested in politics, learn about conflicts in Chile and understand why suddenly appeared protests, and I thought for that reason I had to study History. But, it’s very difficult be teacher in Chile, so, I started to look for more careers. One day, I went out with mi cousin and he told me that look for sociology, because my interests were connected with that career. I started to look for about this career, and I liked a lot. Thus come to study Sociology.

I think a sociologist can contribute to a society with their investigations. Trying to understand the reality and their social processes. It is also important that the sociologist contribute for change. For the last, the sociologist have to have a critical position, and a critical look. He has to be reflective and analitic.

In this moment, my favorite subject is “Historia Social Chilena” with the teacher Gabriel Salazar. I like a lot this subject because I love the Social History, and I think is very important know about the history of one country for understand the current problems.

I think that is all, bye!
